- The Sudanese Society of Hypertension (SSH), since its establishment in 2008, is concerned about the rapid increase in prevalence of hypertension, its complications, treatment, and control.
- Our goal is to establish best community-based practices to eradicate hypertension and translate that to neighboring countries.
- The society has been holding health, disease-awareness, management and control by conducting educational health days in many different areas in Sudan, as well as by conducting conferences, seminars, workshops and physicians training with different partnerships.
- Health days took place at several locations, including International University of Africa, Ahmed Gasim Hospital, El-Suki of Gezira State, GabalAwlyaa, Suba – El Hilla, Ombedda, El–Saha El Khadra and lately at El –Nuba Village of Gezira State.
